Hi Everyone! Welcome to Tatum’s Tail and thank you for supporting our small business! My name is Emily, I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I am a pharmacist by night and an online doggy boutique owner by day! Throughout my 8 years of schooling my dream was to own a mini dapple dachshund and once I finally graduated my dream came through and Tatum joined our family!
Tatum is a mini chocolate dapple dachshund! She is super smart, but she is filled with spunk and sass. Tatum is the sweetest, most playful dog you would ever want to meet! Our company was born out of our struggle in finding harnesses and collars that were available in her size! When my fiancé and I first brought Tatum home she weighed less than 2 pounds and we were not able to find collars and harnesses that fit her properly. If we were able to find something that fit her it was generally something boring like a plain black. Just because she’s tiny doesn’t mean she should not have something fun and cute to wear. Thus, the idea of Tatum’s Tail was born!
In the future we look forward to continuing to grow our brand and grow our TT community. Our goal is to provide safe, stylish, affordable and functional dog accessories for dogs of all sizes. We want our teeny tiny friends to have the same choices as our extra-large friends!
